    Explanation:

    Solar eclipse occurs the moon block the sun from the earth. The moon comes between the sun and the earth, the moon now cast a shadow on the earth. A solar eclipse can only take place in a new moon when the moon cast a shadow on the earth. Solar eclipse normally occur between 2 to 5 times in a year. We have three types of solar eclipse and they are: total solar eclipse, annular solar eclipse and partial solar eclipse.
