The intracellular ratio of NAD+/NADH ratio is expected to be high because NAD + act as coenzyme during the catalytic activity of various enzymes such as alcohol dehydrogenase.

    Explanation:

The ratio of NADP/NADPH should be low that means the intracellular level of NADPH shouls be greater than NADP. It is because NADPH is used in many biosynthesis process such as fatty acid biosynthesis.

On the other hand NADPH is used as coenzyme during the catalytic activity of glutathione reductase. This catalytic activity of glutathione reductase is very much important to neutralize the toxic effect of reactive oxygen species.
