Explanation:

Every molecule has a electrical charges distributed in it. This distribution is known as Polarity of molecules. When a molecule contains slight positive and negative charge it is said to be Polar molecule. In a non-polar molecule the distribution of the electrical charges will be even. The positive and the negative charge are balanced and it is said to be neutral.

A polar molecule has the the distribution of electrical charges in an uneven way ... They are mostly ions, in which the molecules or atoms might have lost of gained electrons entirely. Hence a NON polar molecule has an equal number of positive and negative charge.
