Habitat loss makes the population smaller. Less habitat causes more competition between animals fighting for space. Their causes them to kill for space and also for food since animals won't have habitat to protect them from prey. The animal chain all gets affected.

In my opinion it makes the animals die off faster

    Explanation:

If less animals have smaller and smaller habitats it limmits how much the animal will reproduce and continue its species because they will have less places to live.
