    The general requirements are:

    C. evasion of host defenses

    D. gaining access to the host via a portal of entry

    F. adherence to host tissue

    Explanaton:

A bacteria depends on various factors to cause disease in its host. Firstly the bacteria should gain access to the host through a portal or entry for example through damaged skin, through oral route, through inhalation or through sexual route.

After the entry of microbes in its host, it must be able to evade the immune cells of the host to survive and cause disease. For pathogenesis or virulence of bacteria, adherence property is important. Different microbes adhere to different tissue because different tissue have specific receptors for specific proteins found on pathogens.

So the right answer is C, D, and F.
