Pesticide resistance is the increased tolerance capacity of pests against the pesticides that farmers use to protect the crop.

    Explanation:

Pests are the undesirable organisms that causes harm to the crops and vegetation. For the purpose of avoiding them, farmers use pesticides. After the repetitive use, these pests develop resistance against the pesticide in their gene, this is called as the pesticide resistance. Use of pesticide is quite beneficial for the farmers because it can increase their productivity but adversely affects the environment. The excessive use of pesticides causes the chemical pollution.
