    streptomycin

    Explanation:

Streptomycin is also known as protein synthesis inhibitor. It also have the ability to cross the cell wall of bacteria and interfere with the machinery of bacterial protein translation machinery. Streptomycin bind to the 16S rRNA of the 30S subunit of ribosomes which will results in the loss of its ability to read the codon and thus stop the protein synthesis. the protein synthesis will lead to the death of bacterial cell.

streptomycin is useful against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria.
