    If an organ in your specific organ system stopped working. then the other organs will try to rectify the issue and attempt to make a balance state known as homeostasis.

    Explanation:

    The organs are the important things that make up the functioning of an organ system. Every organ system in the human body are inter dependent on each other's function. For example circulatory system and the respiratory system. If the organs of an organ system fails, then the other organs will try to match the particular organ's function thereby reaching a state of balance.

    This process of getting a state of being balanced in a human body human body is called homeostasis. The important organs for respiratory system includes larynx, pharynx, nose, lungs, bronchi and trachea. When there occurs a failure of one organ occurs the other organs will try to do the function to reach a balance within the organ system.
