This type of brain plasticity is known as neuroplasticity.

    Explanation:

Neuroplasticity allows neurons to regenerate (anatomically and functionally), which allows them to form synaptic connections. Neural plasticity means the ability of the brain to recover and restructure. This is a characteristic of the adaptive potential of the nervous system allowing the brain to recover from disorders, and can also reduce the negative effects of diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's disease, etc.

    Experience Dependent Plasticity.

    Explanation:

As we move through different stages of life, and as we encounter different challenges for existence, the human brain continuously, develop, organise and process different neuronal connections and synaptic connections which enable us to adapt and coordinate with our external environment.

Thus the more exposed we are to certain challenges of life, the more neuronal connections the brain makes in region designated for the role.

Consequently, based on the nature of challenges; the more complex the challenges are the more the neuronal connections, and therefore synaptic connections in the part of the brain. Thus the brain of individuals in a challenging environment with series of complex task to solve will have well developed neuronal networks, more plasticity, compare to those in a less challenging environment.

Thus it is the influence of the environment that determines the extent of organisation and processing of brain neuronal networks for adaptation to life.
