What is one way the circulatory system maintains homeostasis? It controls blood flow to regulate body temperature. It is responsible for the exchange of gases between the body and the outside air. It increases the size of the chest cavity, which decreases air pressure inside the lungs. It brings oxygen into the lungs and releases carbon dioxide through the nose.
