The disadvantage of wolf captivation is that it restricts the sample size which prevents to make a conclusion on the species.

    Explanation:

To study the behavior of the wolves that are kept in captivation during their feeding times, food enrichment programmes are performed. The feeding sessions were proved to be quite useful in studying the stereotype behavior of the wolf.

However, this study is experimented on small samples and on restricted environment that doesn't represent the actual environment of a zoo where wolves are allowed to behave as per their nature.
