In the simulation you did, the disease was transmitted every time an infected person met an uninfected person who was not immune. In the real world, these people may not have become sick. Why not? State as many reasons as you can.

    - A person may be immune to the disease and thus he/she can't transmit the infection to others

    - Persons don't only need to meet each other but they have to be in contact to spread the infection

    - Certain persons may exhibit specific transmission rates for different infections
