No. Because then every 2 years or so we would have to replace everything because the resource is limited

I would say yes. As non renewable energy will come for a long time but once used up u cant get it again because they are over. but renewable energy even if it takes time to renew it will never get over. so in that way will be able to save non renewable energy for a more important purpose.
