a hypothetical organ has the following functional requirements: (the ability ti resists surface abrasion and mechanical stresses; (2) the ability to contract involuntarily when stimulated by cells of the nervous system; and (3) the ability to resist tension in my different places of force. the organ needs one tissue to carry out each of these requirements, and it also needs one tissue to glue all other tissues together, and one tissue to stimulate the contracting cells. what are the five tissues that will make up this hypothetical organ? justify your choices.

The five tissues, which could make up this hypothetical organ are smooth muscle tissue, stratified squamous epithelial tissue, loose connective tissue, dense irregular connective tissue, and nervous tissue.

The stratified squamous epithelial tissue possesses the tendency to resist mechanical stresses and abrasion. It comprises of the scale-like cells that compile together in layers and provide a barrier, which is resistant to wear and tear and abrasions.

The smooth muscle tissue possesses the tendency to contract involuntarily when instigated by the cells of the nervous system. The dense irregular connective tissue possesses the tendency to resist tension in various distinct planes of force. This is a type of connective tissue formed of collagen fibers aligned randomly.

The loose connective tissue also called areolar tissue is made up of elastin, collagen, and reticular fibers, and ample ground components are the one tissue that glues all the other tissues together. The nerve tissue refers to a unique kind of tissue accountable for communication within the body that stimulates the contracting cells.
