The wild type genotype are those in homozygous conditions. Therefore;

Genotype of blue wild cat = BB

Genotype of red wildcat = bb

Crossing the two:

BB x bb = Bb, Bb, Bb and Bb

Bb = purple

Hence, the genotype of the offspring would be Bb with phenotype being purple.
