There would be a lot of difference between Paleozoic ocean and the ocean which we see today. Value Zoe question occur approx. 300 million years ago. A lot of change has occurred during the course of duration.

The police question had contained much rich biodiversity in it as compared to the oceans now. Most of the animals become extinct. The element H2O is same. It means the water are same when compared.

The presence of CO2 in the atmosphere could have affected the ocean water quality. The position of ocean and continent has also changed when compared with past. Ocean used to occur in the northern hemisphere earlier but it is shifted to the southern hemisphere now.
