    The Mid-Atlantic Ridge is a good example of a constructive plate boundary. You can see normal faulting at the surface where the Mid-Atlantic Ridge crosses Iceland. Plates can move apart at a boundary. At the Mid Antlantic Ridge, this kind of fault is called a Divergent Boundary
