    They are multicellular consisting of filamentous structures called hyphae. The whole structure is called mycelium. The hyphae are lined by a cell wall enclosing the cytoplasm. They store carbohydrates in form of glycogen and lipid in form of oil droplets. They reproduce mainly asexually by spores The cell wall is made of chitin but in few cases cellulose.
