    Robert Hooke was the First scientist to used the term cell

    Explanation:

    Robert Hooke first discovered and named it as cell in 1665. He discovered it in a dead cell wall of plants, through a primitive microscope. Later he also, described the structure of cell as small rooms or cellular in which monks used to live. These description can be found in a book called micrographia. The cell which Hooke observed does not show any presence of nucleus in the cell and other organelles that are generally seen in other living cells.
