    osmolarity depends upon molarity.

    glucose is a non-ionizing substance. it won't break down and will go as a whole.

    osmolarity means the solute concentration of a solution.

    here, the solvent is water.

    therefore, 1 osmole = 1 mol

    the ions of glucose after forming a solution (i) = 1

    osmolarity = 1.5 M glucose * 1

    = 1.5 osmoles of glucose.
