Facilitated diffusion.

It resembles a facilitated diffusion, the people would be the ions that want to move from a place with a high concentration (outside the movie theatre) to a place with low concentration (inside of the movie theatre) through a channel. The channel is specific for a certain type of ion and only the ones with the specific characteristics will go inside (the usher will allow the entrance of the people with the ticket).

Simple diffusion Osmosis Facilitated diffusion

Simple diffusion is simply the movement of solute/ion molecules downward the concentration gradient from the region of high solute/ion concentration to the region of low concentration.

Osmosis is usually referred to the diffusion of water molecules from the region of high water/low solute concentration to the region of low water/high solute concentration. Osmosis essentially has to do with the movement of water molecules.

Facilitated diffusion is the movement of molecules/ions downward a concentration gradient with the assistance of carrier or channel proteins.

Active transport on the other hand is the movement of molecules or ion against concentration gradients from the region of low concentration to the region of high concentration. It usually involves the use of energy in the form of ATP.

The movement of people into the theatre can be viewed as a form of facilitated diffusion. The molecule in question are the people that want to see Rogue One while the ticket which grants them access into the theatre is the carrier or channel protein. Without the ticket, the usher will not grant them access into the theatre. The usher seems to be acting like a membrane in this case.
