In an experiment with pea plants, two purple flowered pea plants that are heterozygous for

the alleles for flower color are crossed. The results are offspring with purple flowers: 25;

offspring with white flowers: 15. A 3:1 ratio of purple to white flowered pea plants was

predicted. How would you interpret your results?

    Offspring with purple colour are either homozygous or heterozygous for purple colour while the offspring with white flowers are homozygous for the recessive white colour
