Fungi are non flowering plants which has some benefits and also has some disadvantages.

Fungi is used as a source of food for humans and some lower animals. Fungi are also used to manufacture drugs in laboratories and act as a source of nutrients for plants in agriculture.

The disadvantages of fungi is its ability to cause spoilage of food and other perishable materials. It is known to cause diseases in plants as well as animals.
