if a blood clot is preventing blood from entering a kidney but is not affecting blood flow in other vessels which vessel most likely contains the clot

    Answer: Renal artery

    Explanation: The renal artery is one of the large blood vessels that arise from the abdominal aorta (the abdominal part of the large artery leading from the heart) and enter into each kidney. Hence, the blood coming from the heart reach the kidney through the renal artery. Therefore, occlusion of the renal artery by blood clot will affect only the kidney.
