The dispersion pattern of the population depends on the type of the population and their distribution in the environment. Different types of dispersion are uniform, random and clumped.

The uniform dispersion occur when the population is evenly spaced out in the area. Random dispersion is independent of the other individuals and randomly spaced. Clumped dispersion is greatly influenced by the behavior and the resources. Population are present in small patches.

Clumped dispersion is occurs when individuals clustered together to makes patches with many individuals and without any individual in some patches in a population. It is influenced by the behaviors and resources available in population for example: wolf.

Uniform dispersion where individuals are present at even space throughout an area in a population. It is evenly spaced and the best example of this dispersion is penguins.

Random Dispersion is condition where individuals are present without any particular pattern or the system like other two conditions such as dandelions seeds blow randomly, Independent of other individuals.
