What is the difference between rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis

    The cause of rheumatoid arthritis is self-inflicted by the body immune system while osteoarthritis is due to wear and tear of joints parts

    Explanation:

    Rheumatoid arthritis is a self-inflicted disease whereby the immune system attacks the joints due to the accumulation of urates in the body. It is characterised by pain, inflammation and swelling of the joints, inability to move joints or other body parts.

    On the other hand, osteoarthritis, is simply due to wear and tear state of the joints caused by its prolonged use. Thus,

    osteoarthritis affect people of old age and is characterised by pain and stiffness in joints
