    Explanation:

    A set of Genetic (DNA) variations which inherit in offspring from parents is called haplotype. It also refereed as a group of alleles or single nucleotide polymorphisms. Somatic cells have 48 chromosomes, 23 each from each parent (23 from father and 23 from mother). This is called MHC haplotype.
