    internal membranes

    Explanation:

Eukaryotic cells are represented by animal and plant cells, which are cells that have internal membranes, that is, nuclear membranes. Eukaryotic cells have a nucleus, which separates the DNA from the cytoplasm. This nucleus is bounded by a membrane, the nuclear membrane, also called the inner membrane.

Unlike eukaryotic cells, prokaryotic cells do not have internal membranes, do not have a delimited nucleus and the DNa is exposed to the cytoplasm.
