The diagram shows the life cycle of a dragonfly. The adult stage occurs out of water, and the fertilized egg and nymph stages occur in water. Which two effects might a drought have on the life cycle of a dragonfly?

    Answer: B. Fewer surviving nymphs, because of dried-out eggs

    Explanation: In order for the eggs to hatch there needs to be water so if there is no water, or very little water, there will be less eggs.
