    The chromosomal rearrangement may be defined as the change in the chromosome structure due to some mutations. Four different types of chromosomal rearrangement are as follows:

    Deletion : This may be defined as the rearrangement in which the some parts or the entire chromosome gets deleted in the individual.

    Duplication: In this type of chromosomal rearrangement, the specific part or the entire gene of the chromosome gets multiplied or duplicated.

    Inversion: In the chromosomal rearrangement, the part of the chromosome breaks and reseal but in opposite orientation.

    Translocation: This type of the chromosomal rearrangement may be defined as in which the part of the chromosome break down and reseal on the other chromosome.
