    The genes are arranged in lined up manner in the pair of chromosome.

    Explanation:

    Chromosome are build up by the very long strands of DNA having many genes. In particular sequence, genes are being arranged in the chromosome, every genes have their own location on the chromosome, which is known as locus. Chromosomes are DNA strands which are tightly bounded together so that it can fit in the cell, but genes are the DNA sequences. Hence, we can say the chromosomes are being lined up by the genes.
