You are a member of the city council. Your community needs a new power plant. Citizens are trying to decide if they want a nuclear power plant or a new coal-burning plant. Which do you think would be best for your community? Explain your reasoning.

As I am the member of the city council, I would prefer nuclear power plant as the best for community instead of using a new coal-burning plant.

Explanation:

The nuclear plant don't emit harmful gasses like carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, mercury, or other toxic gases which is harmful to the living beings. It is the alternate method to decrease the rate of air pollution so it is friendly to the environment as well as Eco-system. Although the nuclear plant is expensive but the requirement is less than Coal-burning plant.
