    Hypernatremia is a condition in which blood contain high concentration of sodium.

    Explanation:

    Hypernatremia are of 3 types-low volume, normal volume, and high volume. Low volume hypernatremia takes place due to intake of inadequate amount of water or excess amount of water loss through urination that cause glycosuria. Diabetes insipidus is a type of disease caused by excess water loss from kidney through urination. High volume of hyoernatremia is caused due to intake of hypertonic fluid This is rare and uncommon type of disease. Incase of children, salt poisoning is the most common disease.
