If a forest contained mostly light-colored trees, which type of moth would you expect to be most common?

I believe the answer is pepper moth. The reason I say this is because most light colored trees have lichen and other organisms growing on them, matching the gray pattern on the moth's wings. This provides for extra camouflage from predators.
