Six turns of Calvin cycle is required to produce one molecule of glucose.

    Explanation:

The NADPH and ATP energy produced in the light reaction is used in the Calvin cycle to fix carbon present in CO2 into three-carbon organic compound called glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate.

Three turns of the Calvin cycle produce one molecule of glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate which is a three-carbon compound. Glucose is a six-carbon compound so 2 molecules of G-3-P will be required to make one glucose molecule.

Therefore to make two G-3-P six turns of the Calvin cycle is required.
