Oligomycin and cyanide both inhibit oxidative phosphorylation when the substrate is either pyruvate or succinate. Dinitrophenol can be used to distinguish between these inhibitors. Explain.

    Oligomycin hinders F1F0-ATPase while Cyanide restrains cytochrome oxidase. Since electron transport through cytochrome oxidase is joined with ATP combination, the two inhibitors hinder the oxidative phosphorylation of pyruvate and succinate. Dinitrophenol detaches oxidative phosphorylation with the goal that substrate oxidation can happen without ATP blend. Oligomycin and cyanide restraint can be recognized by estimating O2 within the sight of dinitrophenol. Oligomycin doesn't hinder O2 within the sight of dinitrophenol while cyanide does. Dinitrophenol can be utilized to recognize these inhibitors.
