Inputs; water (H2O), ammonia (NH3), hydrogen gas (H2), hydrocarobon (CH4) Output; amino acids

    Explanation:

Miller and Urey conducted the experiment to test the chemical origin of life or when the life started on earth whether the conditions on earth made it possible for chemical to produce complex organic molecules on earth.

He took mixture of reducing gases such as water, ammonia, methane and hydrogen gas and treats them with electric discharge to produce several amino acids. He made a closed system and tried the match the conditions of experiment as early conditions on earth. His experiment explained that some of the building blocks of complex molecules like DNA could be formed from these compounds spontaneously.
