    The condition or set of conditions which bring about an effect is called a cause.

    Behind every problem there is a specific cause. When the cause of the problem is known, the problem will be solved or measures should be taken to control it. Suppose malaria is a disease which occurs due to plasmodium which is present inside the body of mosquitoes. So here, the cause is mosquito.
