When a person needs an organ transplant, three tests are used, one of which is ABO blood typing. Type O persons

donate to all blood types. A young African American woman needed a kidney transplant. Forty of her relatives were

chosen for testing and 25 were found to have type O blood. Can you use a z-test to compare the proportion of her

relatives who have type O to the general proportion of 51 African Americans having type o out of every 100 African Americans?
