How does water relate to the ability of a living thing to generate energy?

    Answer: the question isn't that clear in my opinion but anyways. I know water is not responsible for ATP production in cells and some organisms require a moist environment to diffuse oxygen through their cells like newts can take in oxygen through their skin. So I would probably say the incomplete answer -

    (Without the proper balance of water, chemical reactions in cells could not)

    -is correct.
