Name the purpose of the dendrite, cell body and axon

Dendrite, cell body and axon are the body parts of neuron. Dendrites recieves impulses from other neuron and pass this impulse to the cell body. From cell body, the nerve impulse pass to the axon and from here it is send to the connected neuron.

Neurons are basic structural and functional unit of nervous system. Neurons are responsible for the transportation of impulses from organs to nervous system and carry instructions from nervous system to the organs.
