Lets consider the allele for barbs to be B and the allele for smooth to be 'b'. The possible genotypes and phenotypes will be

    BB (homozygous dominat barbs)

    Bb (heterozygous barbs)

    bb (smooth)

Lets consider the resistant allele to pesticide as 'r' and the non - reistant as 'R'.

The possible genotypes and phenotypes will be

    RR (non - resistant)

    Rr (non - resistant)

    rr (resistant)
