    Answer: The interphase is one of the most important part of the cell cycle, 90% of the cell's life takes part in this stage. During interphase the cell is preparing for division. Cellular organelles are doubled up in number. The DNA is then replicated and more proteins are then synthesized. This stage prepares the cell's materials before it undergoes mitosis or meiosis.
