A ring is submerged in a graduated cylinder originally filled with exactly 48.0 mL of water. Using the final reading of the graduated cylinder, find the volume of the ring.

    take the new volume (ring+water) and subtract 48.0ml from it

    Explanation: The volume of the ring is 0.6 mL. To find the volume of the ring subtract the initial reading (48.0mL) from the final (48.6mL). I got this answer off of usatestprep from getting it wrong.
