    Decreased osteoclast activity

    Explanation:

Growth hormone (GH) plays a significant role in the growth and bone metabolism, and in bone remodeling which is the process of bone formation by osteoblasts and bone resorption by osteoclasts. GH stimulates osteoblast proliferation and activity, promoting bone formation, as well as bone resorption by osteoclast. For that reason, the deficiency of GH causes a reduction in bone remodeling activity and bone mineral density, and limits bone growth and the accumulation of bone mass.
