Question: What is the effect of day length on plant

growth?

Hypothesis: Plants will grow more when the day is

longer

Describe the experiment you would use to test the

    The experiment can be done as follows:

    Some plants can be grown in conditions where they are given maximum amount of day light. Others might be kept in the day time for a period of few hours and then be places inside a room where no light can come. The plants which receive medium amount of light will be the control group of this experiment. In the end, the growth of the plants in the experimental group shall be compared with the control group to compare the results.
