The property of water which allows glucose to dissolve in blood is that water is an excellent solvent.

    Explanation:

The plasma is made up of 92% water. The polarity, as well as the formation of hydrogen bonds, makes water an excellent solvent. In an organisms body, materials like glucose, salts, ions etc are easily transported to areas where they are needed because the water content of plasma dissolves them and transports them. This is the reason why plasma which is 92% water constitute 55% of the total volume of blood.
