Would you expect the resting heart rate of an athlete to be higher or lower than someone who doesn't work out?

    Explanation:

    they have experience in there breath rate they've probably been doing it for a minute. while on the other hand someone who is not used to working out has a hard time getting there breath back and are breathing heavily

    Explanation:

    Why it would be lower is because working out strengthens the heart muscle making it stronger also allowing it to pump a greater amount of blood with each heartbeat than a average person that doesn't work out.
