It is type AB because A and B are codominant.

    Explanation:

It is the existence or the absence of the type of proteins such as A and B decides the type of blood in a person. These proteins A and B are present on the cells surface of red blood. The presence of two combo of A and B results in the four type of blood such as Type A, Type B, Type AB and Type O. In Type A blood the proteins that is present is only A. In Type B the B protein is only present. In Type AB, the proteins present are A and B. In Type there will be neither presence of A nor the presence of B.

The genotype is responsible for the generation of the type of blood. These genotypes, iAiA or Iai produce type A protein. The genotypes iBiB or iBi produce type B proteins. The genotype iAiB produce the proteins A and B. ii genotype produces type O protein.
