    I think the answer might be b but I'm not sure bc even if it did release carbon dioxide humans release it to, and coal isn't radioactive ☢️ but it might be A

    Biomass is made from the living organic material fro example plants and animals. Biomass is used as an alternative source of energy. Most of the energy which is used to gain energy comes from wood, wood waste, sugarcane, manure, straw.

    Biomass is a better alternative of coal because as biomass is made from organic waste it can regrow quickly while as coal is a fossil fuel it takes thousands of years to replenish. So biomass is a renewable source of energy.
